Waynes Bronco. Here we will cover mounting fiberglass and a basic Roll Bar  to a 1991 Bronco. Fiberglass panel are Dzus fastened on per customer request. This Bronco is built for hunting purposes.

Autofab fender mounting kit welded and installed. This provides places to mount Dzus fastener mounting plates. Basically a special shaped 060 steel tab that holds the Dzus spring. This is mounted flush with the backside of the fiberglass part. Then fit and welded to the fender mounting tube structure. The fender mounting frame structure provides support to the radiator and grill structure. The fiberglass fenders are there for looks only.

Wayne wanted a full race pin mounting on his hood so we designed a mounting kit for this. The stock hood hinges are removed and the Autofab hood cross member is bolted into place. This provides a rear structure for the hood pins at the back of the hood. Note slotted holes for lifting the hood easily. In the center of the hood pin cross member there is a tab with a small half round bump stop. This is used to prop the hood up in the center.

At the front of the hood we fabricate brackets that are spot welded to the radiator support. These are available separately for our customers that use the stock hinge mounts.

We had some repair work to do on the right rear quarter. This area was damaged by the tire carrier. The stock tire carrier is not adequate for large tires. So in the process of removing the stock side panel we reconstructed the sheet metal and eliminated the stock spare tire mount.

Autofab rear quarter panels installed with quick release Dzus fasteners.

Wayne wanted a fiberglass tailgate to save weight primarily. And he wanted the top blanked off as he did not want the window mechanism. The plan was to have a soft top made for the rear and a gun rack behind the seats.
