1983 to 1997 Ranger 2WD Trucks! These kits are installer friendly and give a no hassle 4" lift , is easily aligned  because our beams pivot from the stock location and we have better steering geometry. We do not sell a pitman arm with our kit simply because you don't need it ! Our best feature is all steering components stay stock and in the stock location ! We have customers report 2 and 3 years driving normal use and no alignment work is necessary !

Please keep in mind that Autofab econo lifts are not intended for use offroad. It is necessary to rework bumpstops and set up limit straps if you want your shocks to live ! Plus you have to check out the travel on your brake  hoses as well because they may be short. NO BRAKES bummer.

95 Ranger 2wd before lift

95 Ranger 2wd after lift with 10:50x31 tires on 15x7 wheels

Replacement bracket for 2wd Rangers. Use when taking out a drop down bracket lift and going to a bent beam lift. Getting a stock one is generally a problem as it is part of the frame. Ford will not sell them seperately.  You have to go to a wrecking yard and cut one off a frame by drilling out all the rivets that hold them on. Fun Job. This makes it easy. Price $75

A lot of folks ask us if we can align the beams for a 5" lift for 2WD trucks. That much more camber correction is not safe to do in my professional opinion. Also more camber correction causes the beam to be shorter in length. This affects how much room you have for shocks and springs etc. Plus you create tire turning clearance problems. We have plans for a 6" but it will involve custom beams and tubular radius arms and, don't forget,  definitely cost more.

The wheel travel will probably be around 11 inches or so. Remember a middle of the road kit is the basics of a wheel travel but as long as the stock shock mount is used your actual usable wheel travel will be limited. yes it is possible to get 5 inches of lift. That is what Camburg and Fabtech did with my kits. They would buy the parts from me and put there own spring in. Problem is they did not think it out very well. For the average nose picker, that does not care about the finer details of geometry, the 5 inch lift was ok. For my customers I tell them the change in height from 4 to 5 inches causes other problems that will affect handling and also limit some of your wheel travel. The passenger side beam is the main culprit here. It is 6 inches shorter than the driver side beam. One inch extra lift means that much more camber change that will need to be corrected. Now what happens when the tire cycles up during a bump? The top of the tire will tuck in harder and hit your shock mounts sooner than most realize. Now you have lost some valuable up travel. Also the tie rods are on more angle and your toe change is more because of the extra inch of lift. This will affect your steering geometry. I spent many hours cycling and checking clearances etc. to achieve 16 inches of wheel travel. When you change from our design without thinking it through you will sacrifice your performance. Now when you read all this and absorb it you will understand why I have developed an equal length all chrome-moly beam front end with equal length tie rod swing set steering, for my more serious pre-runners etc. That kit happens to use a F150 6 inch lift coil.

95-97 Ranger Econo Lift beams and radius arms exchange for your parts

$600

Note: Core exchange gets kind of confusing. Let me explain. We depend on good beams and radius arms to keep our program going. Therefore if you cannot send us your beams and radius arms first we will charge a core fee. This will be refunded after we have received your good used beams and radius arms. We will inspect them and contact you with the results. Sometimes I have had customers send me bad parts for core returns. Please understand you will be charged for this. We will contact you first and give you the chance to get another beam if you wish. Do not send badly rusted parts to us. It is too much trouble to make them look sellable. Autofab will not accept badly rusted beams or radius arms.
