equal length tie rods
Rear chassis work

We started the 75 F100 back in the 80's for a customer who sadly died from aggressive cancer treatment. Jim Oviat was his name. So in his memory we decided to finish the truck. Darin and I started looking around at all the parts we had been gathering through the years that for some reason or another no one wanted to buy. For example , one Sandy Cone Dana 60 full floater chrome moly housing. Stock width with leaf spring mounts built on. No one wants a stock width Dana 60 anymore so it was donated to the white pre-runner project. The truck itself had a complete roll cage built into and behind the interior sheet metal panels. Cage tubes are all tucked in behind the dash for a stock appearance.

After the sheet metal work was completed this cab was prepped and painted by C&H auto body and paint. Howard's people did a great job with all the detail work.

The cab was wired and the interior carpet work  completed after paint work.

As you can see this will be a frame up restoration and fabrication build up. The frame is a stock 1975 F100 short bed so we just make it as a smog exempt vehicle. This will allow me to run my 460 engine as the F100 never came with that motor. We are using a 70 460 engine with 69 C J heads, C 6 transmission and a Dana 60 rear end. The transmission is setup with the heavy duty flange style tail housing.

Here is a front view showing the coil bucket assembly. These buckets will also have the beam pivot brackets built into them. Note the Autofab coil spring adjuster option. This complete front end was built for a customer who changed his mind half way through the project and dropped the ball on us paying for it. Thank You Gordon Clark for that one you sombitch. We had designed an equal length steering system for this front end also. It was the prototype first article. Added to the spare parts list Gordon's front end will be installed.

Here is the right side view of the coil bucket assembly. Note the large air bump stop mount behind the bucket. This setup is for a 3 inch diameter 16 inch Fox bypass shock. Cant wait to get the bill for those. Have not found any used ones yet. ha ha
